Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning musical EVITA go on-sale to the public starting this Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. EVITA will play the Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph) for a limited engagement Sep. 18 - Oct. 6, 2013.

Producers Hal Luftig, Scott Sanders Productions and Troika Entertainment announce casting for the national tour of the Tony Award Nominated Best Revival of a Musical and smash hit production of Tim Rice's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA. The tour kicks off on September 8th at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kinky Boots, this year's Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has implemented a new lottery ticket policy, following the show's recent record-breaking weeks at the box office. Beginning Tuesday, July 9, a general ticket lottery will replace the previous general rush policy (for which many fans began sleeping outside the theater to be first in line when the box office opened). Lottery entries will be accepted outside the Al Hirschfeld Theatre box office (302 West 45th Street) beginning two and a half hours prior to each performance, and names will be drawn at random, for a limited number of $37 tickets, two hours before curtain time. The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Kinky Boots, the new smash hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), has debuted at #1 on the Billboard's Top Broadway Albums Chart and at #51 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart. This is the highest charting Broadway cast recording in over two years. The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Kinky Boots is produced by Cyndi Lauper, Stephen Oremus, William Wittman and Sammy James, Jr.

Kinky Boots, from four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (book), Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Director & Choreographer), began preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on March 3, 2013 and opened April 4, 2013. KINKY BOOTS has been nominated for 12 Tony Awards, including Lauper for Best Original Score.
