Netflix will house three new DreamWorks Animation Television kids series in 2019 and 2020, according to Deadline.

Fox Searchlight Pictures Presidents of Production, Film and Television Matthew Greenfield and David Greenbaum announced today that principal photography has commenced in Vancouver, British Columbia for the horror thriller ANTLERS.  Directed by Scott Cooper (BLACK MASS, CRAZY HEART), the film is written by Henry Chaisson (OPEN 24 HOURS) & Nick Antosca (THE FOREST, CHANNEL ZERO) with revisions by Scott Cooper, from the short story The Quiet Boy by Antosca. In ANTLERS, a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, become entwined with a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences. 

Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan are in negotiations to star in directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead's sci-fi thriller SYNCHRONIC. The film will be produced by David Lawson Jr. along with Moorhead and Benson for Rustic Films, with a script written by Benson. XYZ Films is handling international sales, with XYZ co-repping domestic rights with UTA. 

Sony Classical releases OPERATION FINALE (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) with original music byAcademy Award winner Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, The Grand Budapest Hotel). The soundtrack will be available for streaming, download and on CD August 24, 2018. Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures (MGM) will distribute Operation Finale theatrically on August 29, 2018.

Producer David Binder just announced today that Golden Globe Award Winner and Emmy Award Nominee Keri Russell will join three-time Emmy Award nominee Adam Driver in the first revival of Pulitzer Prize Winner Lanford Wilson's BURN THIS. Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer, BURN THIS will begin performances in March 2019 at a Broadway theater to be announced.

Jesse Plemons will be co-starring alongside Keri Russell in Scott Cooper's newest film, ANTLERS, according to Variety.

One of the most acclaimed and distinctive film composers of his generation, four-time Academy Award nominee Danny Elfman collaborates once again with director Gus Van Sant with his original score for Van Sant's new Amazon Studios film Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot. Opening nationwide July 13, the film is a based on John Callahan, one of the most iconic American cartoonists, and his one-of-a-kind story of struggle and redemption. Sony Classical releases the film's original soundtrack recording on July 13.

It looks like we'll be seeing stars next year as more Broadway names are added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. CBS LA has reported that the full list of entertainment industry professionals have been selected to receive their stars and were announced on Monday.

 HOLA Mexico Film Festival (HMFF), the largest festival of Mexican cinema outside of Mexico, announced today three Cinelatino Filmmaker Awards during its 10th anniversary closing night gala at La Plaza De Cultura Y Artes in Los Angeles. New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents The Nightmare Before Christmas on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 & 7:30 PM. Based on a story and characters created by Tim Burton, 1993's animated The Nightmare Before Christmas (rated PG) was directed by Henry Selick (James and the Giant Peach). This magical film follows the earnest but misguided adventures of Jack Skellington, Halloween Town's beloved Pumpkin King, as he attempts to take control of the Christmas holiday. Against the advice of Sally, a lonely rag doll who has feelings for him, Jack enlists three mischievous trick-or-treaters - Lock, Shock and Barrel - to help in his plot to kidnap Santa Claus. 

Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer (“Cheers, “Frasier,” “Boss”) has joined the cast of FOX's upcoming drama, PROVEN INNOCENT. Grammer will play GORE BELLOWS, a hard-as-nails and tough-on-crime state's attorney, who goes up against an underdog legal teamcommitted to reopening investigations to exonerate the innocent who were “proven” guilty. The series is scheduled to premiere midseason.
