DirecTV's Audience Network, known for its daring entertainment programming, will take viewers a step further into the realm of the deeply provocative with the premiere of Something to Talk About, a series of socially and culturally relevant documentaries presented in association with Brainstorm Media, beginning in October exclusively on DirecTV. In certain cities, the films will be screened in theaters starting in late September and, in select locations, will include live discussions following the screenings.

DirecTV's Audience Network, known for its daring entertainment programming, unveils the third documentary in its Something to Talk About collection with the debut of THE ROLLING STONES CHARLIE IS MY DARLING - IRELAND 1965 on the Audience Network, Saturday, Nov. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Deadline reports that Glenn Close, James Franco and Brit Marling will star in the upcoming screen adaptation of Tom Bailey's THE GRACE THAT KEEPS THIS WORLD. The screenplay will be penned by Matthew Aldrich.

Ron Bohmer, most recently seen on Broadway in A Little Night Music (Frid), joins the cast of The Fantasticks in the role of the narrator El Gallo on Monday, Oct. 8. He replaces actor Jeremiah James.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center today announced FREUD'S LAST SESSION, New York's long-running hit play by Mark St. Germain, is set to open in Los Angeles this winter starring Judd Hirsch as Sigmund Freudand Tom Cavanagh as C. S. Lewis under the direction of Tyler Marchant, who helmed the original New York production. Presented by The Broad Stage and CRC Productions, FREUD'S LAST SESSION will begin preview performances January 11(th) through January 15(th). Opening Night is Wednesday, January 16(th) and will run for a limited engagement through February 10(th) at The Broad Stage.

Submarine Entertainment announced today that it has sold US DVD/Digital/VOD rights to Cinedigm Entertainment Group to Oscar Nominated Director Liz Garbus's feature documentary film LOVE MARILYN. Submarine previously sold US TV rights to HBO Documentary Films at the Toronto Film Festival and has also sold all Canadian rights to Mongrel Media and Airline Rights to Jaguar Distribution.

Lookingglass Theatre Company will open its 25th Anniversary Season with Metamorphoses, based on the Myths of Ovid, written and directed by Lookingglass Ensemble Member Mary Zimmerman. The show will play tonight, September 19 - September 28, 2012. The return of Lookingglass' seminal production, coinciding with the 10th Anniversary of the Broadway run, will open at Lookingglass in the fall of 2012 and will then move to Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage.

Casting has been announced for the new Frank Wildhorn production of Zelda: An American Love Story, starring Lauren Kennedy and Tony award winner Jarrod Emick. Directed by Vincent Marina with original choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and additional choreography by Stephanie Klemons, the musical opens regionally in North Carolina October 3 at Flat Rock Playhouse, The State Theatre of North Carolina and will run through October 28.

The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday evening to an enthusiastic crowd and will next be screened at the New York Film Festival.

The Public Theater's production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's INTO THE WOODS, part of The Public's 50th Anniversary season at the Delacorte, opened on August 9th and stars Donna Murphy, Amy Adams, Denis O'Hare, Jessie Mueller and Chip Zien.
