This year's "Tomatoes Got Talent" winner, Sheree Sano, co-headlines the musical funfest with past winners and runner-ups from the previous five years of "Tomatoes Got Talent," New York's only singers contest celebrating the talents of women-over-40 who are not working pros and have day jobs.

Deana Martin, daughter of entertainment legend Dean Martin, is set to be honored with the official title of Trobairitz by the Friar's Club in New York City. The prestigious title will be formally presented to Martin on June 4 as part of 'A Deana Martin Toast.'

Starting out in stand-up comedy at an age when most careers, comedy or not, are well established or even winding down, Felicia Madison's comedic calling has taken off in a big way, and her success is only growing. Now she brings her savvy satire, connections, and irreverent wit to the West Side Comedy Club as their Director of New Talent.

Last night the show at the Friars Club was all about the food and two legendary kitchens united to create a culinary event that got a four star rating and standing ovation from the audience. The lore, lure and legacy of Le Cirque was celebrated at the club and a classic four course dinner prepared under the direction of Le Cirque chef and CEO/owner Mauro Maccioni.

Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) welcomes Kat Radley to the $5 Comedy Garage (located in the Colonial lobby) on Thursday, May 17 at 7:30pm. This event is sponsored by Pittsfield Cooperative Bank.

Amas Musical Theatre(Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present further staged readings of Play It by Heart, a new musical, with music by David Spangler, Jerry Taylorand Marty Dodson, lyrics byDavid Spangler, Jerry Taylor,R.T. Come see The Roastmaster General Jeff Ross and the consummate comedian's comedian Dave Attell when they share the stage as co-headliners of their show Bumping Mics. One stage is probably not enough to contain two of the funniest men in the world, but we're going to try! Jeff Ross & Dave Attell: Bumping Mics presented by Comix will take place in the Uncas Ballroom at Mohegan Sun on Saturday, June 23rd at 8:00pm.

Country music and soap opera fans joined Club members last night for an intimate acoustic evening of original country songs at the iconic Friars Club. 

The 5th Annual 'Tomatoes Got Talent' Contest celebrating the talents of women-over-40 who are currently not working pros took place on Monday, April 9 at The Triad. It was hosted by Randie Levine-Miller, who co-produced with Cheryl Benton, the founder and publisher of Thethreetomatoes.com, which sponsors the event. Jimmy Horan music directed what became a real musical happening!

This 2018 season, the talent performing at The RRazz Room at Mizner Park Cultural Center is a diverse mix of world class artists. There is truly something for all tastes at the intimate and comfortable venue, where audiences have the opportunity to enjoy their favorite artists up close and personal. The Friars archives and Wikipedia have finally been corrected. Nineteen Eighty Eight was a watershed year for women. They gained membership to numerous private men's clubs that heretofore were off limits to women. The Friars, being one of the more famous of the bunch had an article heralding the event written by a less than factual reporter for The New York Times. The paper of record, in an early forerunner of fake news only listed the first 7 women and overlooked number 8...Jamie deRoy who was in that initial group, along with Liza Minnelli, Joan Rivers, Brooke Shields, and other prominent female entertainment figures was not mentioned.

Two of daytime television's most popular actors will be performing their original country music in an intimate acoustic performance at Feinstein's 54Below on Tuesday April 17 at 9:30 PM.

A stellar cast of Broadway's finest performers will be on hand Wednesday, April 11, when The New York Friars Club honors show business tour de force Jamie deRoy at a celebration marking her 30th anniversary as one of the Club's first eight female members. The event, Jamie deRoy, 30 Years a Friar, will be at The Friars Club, 57 East 55th Street, starting at 6 PM for cocktails, 7 PM for dinner and 8:30 PM for the show.

The two throw together a rag-tag band of other 'failed' locals for one shot to play the huge local music festival. It's a story of hopes, dreams and music.
