The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director, Gabriel Shelian-Shanks) gathers today for the 82nd Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony, hosted by 2016 Tony® Award-nominees, Zachary Levi (She Loves Me) and Megan Hilty (Noises Off), in the Broadway Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway). 

Producers Fox Theatricals and Barbara Whitman announced today that Fun Home, the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has partnered with PFLAG, the nation's largest organization of families, friends and allies to the LGBTQ community, with multiple initiatives both in and out of the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th St).

?The public is invited to an Open House and Preview Event showcasing the Fabulous Fox Theatre's 2016-2017 U.S. Bank Broadway Series on Sunday, May 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Fox Theatre, 527 N. Grand Blvd. Visitors will be treated to live previews of FUN HOME and A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER along with video previews from the other season shows. 

FUN HOME, the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning Best Musical, celebrates its one-year anniversary on Broadway today, April 19, where it has played 415 performances (and counting) at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th St).

The 2016 Drama League Award Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award were just announced this morning at Sardi's, by Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and James Monroe Iglehart. The Fabulous Fox Theatre announces an extraordinary season of Tony Award-winning Best Musicals in the 2016-2017 U.S. Bank Broadway Series including FUN HOME, Fox Theatricals' own critically-acclaimed 2015 Tony Award-winning Best Musical. Producers Fox Theatricals (Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson) and Barbara Whitman just announced that the National Tour of Fun Home, the groundbreaking and Tony Award-winning Best Musical, will re-open San Francisco's iconic Curran Theatre, playing January 25 - February 19, 2017. The news was announced on Monday night by Carole Shorenstein Hays, live from the stage of the Curran, where the Tony-winning creative team appeared on-stage with Lieutenant Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, where they discussed details of the new national production of the musical.

Producers Fox Theatricals and Barbara Whitman have announced that Fun Home, the groundbreaking and Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has teamed up with Ambassador Samantha Power and a group of UN ambassadors representing countries from acrossthe world for a special evening of theater on Tuesday, March 1. The group of ambassadors will attend the show and participate in a post-show talkback with the show's creators, Tony Award-winners Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori, along with members of the cast. The discussion, hosted by LGBT activist Cynthia Nixon, will take place on stage after the 7:00PM performance at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th St).
