FUN HOME, the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning Best Musical, celebrates its one-year anniversary on Broadway today, April 19, where it has played 415 performances (and counting) at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th St).

FUN HOME had a history-making first year, becoming the first Broadway musical by women to win the Best Musical Tony Award and the first Broadway musical with a lesbian protagonist. Within the year Fun Home has been on Broadway, they've celebrated the Supreme Court's triumphant decision on marriage equality, became the first Broadway musical to perform on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," welcomed U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power and 17 UN Ambassadors from other nations, and more.

To help celebrate this milestone, a free download of a special arrangement of "Changing My Raincoat," a mash-up of two songs from the show performed by Joel Perez and Roberta Colindrez, is currently available at http://eepurl.com/bYrby9. In addition, Tony Award-Winners Jeanine Tesori, Lisa Kron, and Sam Gold will be honored with Sardi's caricatures on Thursday, April 21.

Based on Alison Bechdel's best-selling graphic memoir, Fun Home features music by Jeanine Tesori, book and lyrics by Lisa Kron and direction by Sam Gold, whose work on this production earned them Tony Awards for Best Score, Best Book and Best Direction. Fun Home is currently playing to sold-out crowds at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street), and was was the first Broadway show of the 2014-2015 season to recoup financially, doing so in only eight months.

The current cast of Fun Home includes two-time Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris, three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker, 2015 Tony Award nominee Beth Malone, Lauren Patten, Gabriella Pizzolo, Roberta Colindrez, Cole Grey, Zell Steele Morrow, Joel Perez, along with Alessandra Baldacchino, Kally Duling, Maya Grace Fischbein, Perry Sherman, Jim Stanek, and Nicole Van Giesen.

FUN HOME introduces us to Alison at three different ages, revealing memories of her uniquely dysfunctional family - her mother, brothers and volatile, brilliant, enigmatic father - that connect with her in surprising new ways. This intimate and emotional theatrical experience is performed entirely in the round, bringing audiences closer to Alison's story than ever before. A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, Fun Home is a refreshingly honest, wholly original musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes.

FUN HOME was also nominated for 2015 Tony Awards for Best Scenic Design of Musical (David Zinn), Best Lighting Design of a Musical (Ben Stanton) and Best Orchestrations (John Clancy). The creative team also includes Danny Mefford (Choreography), Kai Harada (Sound Design), and Chris Fenwick (Music Direction).

FUN HOME is produced on Broadway by Fox Theatricals (Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson) and Barbara Whitman, along with Carole Shorenstein Hays, Tom Casserly, Paula Marie Black, Latitude Link, Terry Schnuck/Jack Lane, The Forstalls, Nathan Vernon, Mint Theatricals, Elizabeth Armstrong, JAM Theatricals and Delman Whitney.

The coast-to-coast North American Tour of Fun Home will launch in Cleveland, OH in October 2016, and play major cities including Chicago, St. Louis, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and many more.
