Today, 106.7 Lite FM announced that Erik Altemus of PIPPIN, Ann Harada of Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, and a slew of other stage stars are set to kick off Broadway in Bryant Park this week. The 2013 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning this Thursday, July 11 at 12:30 p.m. on the Bryant Park Stage. Broadway Sings for Pride will kickoff NYC Gay Pride 2013 by celebrating with their third annual Gay Pride benefit concert. The special one-night benefit entitled ' Unite' with join forces with American Idol and Billboard recording artistic Kimberley Locke, Broadway powerhouse Eden Espinosa (star of Wicked, Rent, Brooklyn The Musical), American Idol and Rent star Anwar Robinson and over 20 members of the Broadway community. The concert will benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute and Broadway Sings for Pride. There will also be special speakers including a message of hope from Steven Guy and James Clementi of the Tyler Clementi Foundation. The night will be hosted by award winning host from the hit show 'truTV Presents: the World's Dumbest' Scott Nevins with staging by Rachele Rommes (Minnesota Timberwolves choreographer). A live auction will happen before the show.

The producers of the recently crowned 2013 Tony Award winning Best Revival of a Musical PIPPIN are pleased to announce that a new block of tickets have gone on sale and seats are now available for purchase through January 5, 2014. PIPPIN, now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), also took Tony Awards for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical (Patina Miller), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical (Andrea Martin) and Best Direction of a Musical (Diane Paulus).

PIPPIN has won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The production has received 4 Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Revival of a Musical, Outstanding Director of a Musical (Diane Paulus),Outstanding Choreography (Chet Walker & Gypsy Snider) and Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical (Andrea Martin).

The album is co-produced by composer Stephen Schwartz and Kurt Deutsch with Howard and Janet Kagan serving as executive producers.
