Artist John Coulter continues his exploration of the affinity between Tribal (Primitive) Art and Modern Art with his latest exhibition The New Mythology opening on Thursday, October 10th at The Gallery at EarthWE @ Bergamot Station. The New Mythology further expands Coulter's interpretations of human and totemistic figures. Depicted with charcoal pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolor, Coulter's 35 drawings and paintings are a fusion of atavistic forms and present-day icons, grounded in the Modern Primitivism style.

Broadway's landmark musical event THE LION KING, the fifth longest-running show in Broadway history, welcomes JEFFREY KUHN, in the role of Zazu, and TSHIDI MANYE, who rejoins the production as Rafiki.

Casting has been announced for the Dallas engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Dallas' most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the Music Hall at Fair Park stage from Wednesday, October 2 to Sunday, October 20. The press opening night is Friday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. The show's previous two engagement in 2002 and 2007 played sold-out runs at the Music Hall.

It's a new era for The Philly POPS and a chance for audiences to share in the excitement of this first season under the baton of new music director Michael Krajewski. The Philly POPS opens its 2013-14 season with the theme 'Viva Philadelphia!' - a celebration of the City and of Philadelphia's Italian spirit as well as a demonstration of the maestro's special love for vocal music. It's a fitting theme, as the new maestro celebrates the City that will be another POPS home for this nationally recognized conductor.
