John Coulter's THE NEW MYTHOLOGY to Open 10/10 at The Gallery at EarthWE

Artist John Coulter continues his exploration of the affinity between Tribal (Primitive) Art and Modern Art with his latest exhibition The New Mythology opening on Thursday, October 10th at The Gallery at EarthWE @ Bergamot Station. The New Mythology further expands Coulter's interpretations of human and totemistic figures. Depicted with charcoal pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolor, Coulter's 35 drawings and paintings are a fusion of atavistic forms and present-day icons, grounded in the Modern Primitivism style.

Clear Channel's 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival, where the music of the iHeartRadio app comes to life, will broadcast LIVE on Clear Channel radio stations across the country and will video stream LIVE via Yahoo Music and - new this year - the PlayStation3 (PS3) gaming console, for those fans who can't be in Vegas. In addition, the Festival will be televised as a two-night primetime special on The CW Network to kick off their fall season on Monday, Sept. 30.

Hotel Nikko San Francisco and Michael Feinstein are thrilled to welcome singer, pianist and songwriter Tony DeSare to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances only - Friday, October 25 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, October 26 (7 p.m.). Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. Casting has been announced for the Dallas engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Dallas' most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the Music Hall at Fair Park stage from Wednesday, October 2 to Sunday, October 20. The press opening night is Friday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. The show's previous two engagement in 2002 and 2007 played sold-out runs at the Music Hall.

It's a new era for The Philly POPS and a chance for audiences to share in the excitement of this first season under the baton of new music director Michael Krajewski. The Philly POPS opens its 2013-14 season with the theme 'Viva Philadelphia!' - a celebration of the City and of Philadelphia's Italian spirit as well as a demonstration of the maestro's special love for vocal music. It's a fitting theme, as the new maestro celebrates the City that will be another POPS home for this nationally recognized conductor. It's also fitting as this first series of The POPS 35th season falls on Columbus weekend, a time of special significance in a city with a rich Italian heritage. With performances on Friday, October 11 through Sunday October 13, POPS concerts will continue to be presented in a series of Friday evenings at 8 p.m., followed by Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. at Verizon Hall of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on Avenue of the Arts in Philadelphia.
