The line-up for KCRW's Masquerade Ball, L.A.'s iconic Halloween dance party was announced today and features The Black Madonna, Matthew Dear, Tensnake, Moon Boots, Gemini Rising, Yolanda Be Cool, Lucent Dossier, Lucha VaVOOM, Axon Orchestra, Les Petites Bonbons, and KCRW DJs Jason Bentley, Aaron Byrd, Anne Litt, Anthony Valadez, Chris Douridas, Dan Wilcox, Eric J. The Dead Writers Theatre Collective is thrilled to announce the first show of its 2017-2018 season, Angel Street (Gaslight) by Patrick Hamilton. The show will be a continuation of the Collective's chamber series set in the small intimate space of Stage 773. The show is four performances only April 6-9, with a preview night on April 5. Florida Repertory Theatre has announced the opening of Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning romantic comedy, Talley's Folly.

Featuring a cast of actors from throughout Middle Tennessee, The Renaissance Players will present the musicalized version of a holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, The Musical, December 2- 18 in the Anne Deason Performance Hall at The Renaissance Center in Dickson. The Charles Dickens classic gets the full Broadway treatment with music by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical).
