Town Hall's Broadway by the Year Series tonight, June 23 at 8pm, THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1990-2014 has added to its cast Aladdin star Adam Jacobs, Tony Award-nominee Chad Kimball (Memphis), Jenn Gambatese (Tarzan, All Shook Up), Cheryl Freeman (Tommy, The Civil War), NaTasha Yvette Williams (A Night with Janis Joplin), Patti Murin (Lysistrata Jones), Oliver Award-nominee Kyle Scatliffe (The Scottsboro Boys, currently in LES MISERABLES), Morgan James (Motown The Musical), Lucas Steele (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), Jeannette I. On Monday, February 24 at 8pm, Town Hall will kick-off the 14th season of its Broadway by the Year Series with THE BROADWAY MUSICALS OF 1915-1939 which will feature Tony Award-winners Tonya Pinkins and Beth Leavel, as well as Tony Award-nominees Carolee Carmello, Stephanie J. The Town Hall is proud to announce the season finale of Broadway by the Year featuring The Broadway Musicals of 1988, includingThe Phantom of the Opera, Chess, Legs Diamond, Romance Romance, Carrie, and More! Scott Siegel, the creator, writer, and host of Broadway by the Year has selected a half dozen performers to star in the concert, including Howard McGillin, who holds the record for playing 'The Phantom' longer than any other actor in Broadway history. He will be joined by one of his Christines, Jennifer Hope Wills. Drama Desk Nominees Farah Alvin (The Marvelous Wonderettes) and Kevin Earley (Death Takes a Holiday) return toBroadway by the Year. Lisa Brescia, who starred on Broadway in Twyla Tharp's The Times They Are A-Changin', as Elphaba in Wicked, and as Donna in Mamma Mia! makes her Broadway by the Year debut and favorite Scott Coulter will direct and star in the concert. The cast will be joined by the Broadway by the Year Chorus.

Chris Durang launched a comic nightclub act in 1989 called CHRIS DURANG & DAWNE (John Augustine and Sherry Anderson) that came back to play clubs all over the New York area for the next eight years until they made their last public performance in January of 1996.
