Edmond de Bergerac, Alexis Michalik's hilarious comedy and French theatre phenomenon, will have its UK premiere at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 15 30 March with a star cast led by Freddie Fox as Edmond Rostand, alongside Henry Goodman as Constant Coquelin, Josie Lawrence as Sarah Bernhardt and Chizzy Akudolu as Maria.

With a creative vision accompanied by an infectious musical score and punctuated by powerful and authentic performances, 'Mula sa Buwan,' no wonder, is shaping up to be a musical that will be well-remembered long after its final bow. Now in its third and (as they promoted it) last run, I saw the show three times to make up for the missed opportunity of seeing it the previous years. My fondness for this musical just keeps on growing each time I see it and I feel very strongly that a show of this nature is not meant to disappear forever.

'Mula Sa Buwan,'the original Filipino musical, based on the Edmond Rostand play 'Cyrano de Bergerac,' written by Pat Valera (concept, book, and lyrics) and William Manzano (lyrics and music), returns for a third time, now through November 25, 2018, at the brand new 800-seater theatre at the Hyundai Hall, Arete at Ateneo de Manila University.
