The Paris Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International is sponsoring the Second Annual Paris Jazz Tour and Singers Workshop, bringing singers from different genres together from the U.S., Paris and Croatia to travel to Paris from June 18-24, 2015, led by Paris Committee member and singer Claudia Hommel.

Kurt Elling, the preeminent male vocalist in jazz, will release Passion World - his fifth album from Concord Records - on June 9. For his most ambitious project yet, Elling casts his net far and wide around the globe, using songs rooted in Iceland (Bjork's 'Who Is It') to Ireland (U2's 'Where The Streets Have No Name'), France (Edith Piaf's 'La Vie En Rose') to Brazil (Dorival Caymmi's 'Voce Ja Foi a Bahia?') and beyond, to explore the passionate forces that shake our souls. Elling - a Grammy Award winner and 10-time Grammy Award nominee - will launch Passion World with a weeklong engagement at Birdland Jazz Club (315 West 44th Street in Manhattan) from June 10-13.

Adrienne Haan, one of Europe's and America's most electrifying concert and cabaret stars, will debut her new show, Rock le Cabaret!, a rock version of French chansons newly arranged for Haan and her five piece rock band at the Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street, New York City tonight, April 18 at 4pm and 7:30pm. Feinstein's at the Nikko announced today the lineup for their "City Singers" series for the months of March and April. The lineup includes jazz singer Opie Bellas, San Francisco's favorite crooner, Russ Lorenson and French chanteuse Betty Roi. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.
