AWAKENING IN INK, Vincent Carbone's audience-immersive play about a young woman's encounter with the paranormal at Manhattan's oldest house, will play a four-week run at Morris-Jumel Mansion. Commissioned by the Mansion, AWAKENING IN INK previews October 15th and 16th, and opens October 17th. It features Hannah Kaplan, Constance Cooper, Carol Ward and Christopher Davalos. Due to tropical storm Joachim, En Garde Arts has postponed BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, to October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. The opening night party at The Frying Pan will now take place on October 23 at 7pm.

BWW Review: Odeum Theater Brings Hilarious MST3K WEEKEND to East Greenwich

There's no denying that Rhode Island has numerous venues for exciting entertainment events. There are the big ones that are well-known, like Providence Performing Arts Center and The Vets in downtown Providence. But there are also a number of smaller venues throughout the state, like the Stadium Theater in Woonsocket and the Odeum in East Greenwich, which also bring in great events. This weekend, the ninety year old theater tucked into historic buildings along Main Street in East Greenwich is hosting a two-day event celebrating the hit comedy TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000.
