THE LURKING FEAR and More Set for Unbound Productions' WICKED LIT 2013, 10/4-11/2

Unbound Productions Co-Artistic Directors Jonathan Josephson, Paul Millet, and Jeff G. Rack have announced the line-up for the 5th Anniversary Production of the popular horror story adaptation series WICKED LIT that will take place at Mountain View Mausoleum and Cemetery in Altadena, California. The production will run from October 4-November 2, 2013 and feature world premiere adaptations of H.P Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The New Catacomb as well as a revival of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

Philadelphia Opera Collective to Present OPERA MACABRE: EDGAR ALLEN POE, Begin. 9/13

On the heels of last year's sold out production, The Philadelphia Opera Collective has decided to continue to push the boundaries of what defines opera with a work of their own creation. Opera Macabre: Edgar Allan Poe Opera is the fourth production by the company. With text in English, it continues their omnipresent mission to engage new and younger audiences with the living, breathing art of opera. Opera Macabre will open the evening of Friday the 13th in September with performances on the 14th, 15th, and 19th. Directed by Brenna Geffers and Musically Directed by Reese Revak, all performances will be held at the well-known Adrienne Theatre Playground - 2030 Sansom St.

World Premiere Theatre Installation of Poe's THE TELL TALE HEART Comes to ScareLA Today

Unbound Productions Co-Artistic Directors Jonathan Josephson, Paul Millet, and Jeff G. Rack have announced a special WICKED LIT installation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart which will be staged exclusively at LA Mart in conjunction with ScareLA,during the first annual Los Angeles Halloween Convention (beginning today August 10, and running through tomorrow, August 11). The limited-seating eight-performance run will be staged throughout one of the vacant floors of the 14-story warehouse style building, and feature the full array of theatrical effects and creative artistry that fans of WICKED LIT have come to expect.

FringeNYC's THE STORYTELLERS Begins Performances at Flamboyan Theater Tonight

Performances for THE STORYTELLERS, a new play based on the short stories of Edgar Allan Poe, Saki, Robert W. Service and W.W. Jacobs, begin Friday, August 9 as a part of the 17th annual New York International Fringe Festival at New York City's Flamboyan Theater (107 Suffolk Street). Adapted and directed by Abigail Strange (FringeNYC/CapitalFringe's Blanche: The Bittersweet Life of a Wild Prairie Dame, NYMF's Requiem for a Lost Girl) with original music by Louis Aquiler (Theatreworks USA!), tickets for THE STORYTELLERS range from $15 - $18 and are available at www.FringeNYC.com. The playing schedule for THE STORYTELLERS is as follows: Friday, August 9 at 4:45pm; Saturday, August 10 at 7:15pm; Monday, August 12 at 4:45pm; Wednesday, August 14 at 2:00pm; and Saturday, August 17 at 9:15pm.

All three performers are Brown/Trinity Rep MFA acting program graduates and no strangers to the Trinity Rep stage, having appeared in multiple productions over the past several seasons.
