The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) last night announced the winners of the 2013 Writers Guild Awards.

Last night, February 15, 2013, the opening night of the SKETCHES FROM THE NATIONAL LAMPOON World Premiere, directed by Pat Towne, welcomed a slew of celebrity guests and more to the Hayworth Theatre. BroadwayWorld has photos from the opening curtain call and celebrations below!

Harlequin, one of the world's leading publishers of books for women, will play a central role in an upcoming episode of The Bachelor, ABC's tremendously popular romance reality series. The episode will feature a special 'group date' where the women pose for a Harlequin cover with the newest Bachelor, Sean Lowe . The contestant who shows the most spontaneity, flair and chemistry with Sean will be awarded a three-book cover-model opportunity with Harlequin. The episode is scheduled to air Monday, January 14, 2013, on ABC.

The Bedford Hills based, much buzzed about and highly acclaimed new intergenerational rock band, JAZMO, will make its New York Premiere at the world-renown Iridium (1650 Broadway at 51st Street, NYC) tonight, January 8th at 8:00pm and 10:00pm.

97.3 KBCO & Z2 Entertainment will present Milo Greene at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, March 30th. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 11th for $14.00.

The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, news, radio, promotional writing, and graphic animation during the 2012 season. The winners will be honored at the 2013 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

Overall, I'd recommend this production. Strong acting, strong singing, and a delicate treatment of the interesting material make this one to see.
