As Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival rings in 85 seasons, Doug Varone & Dancers celebrates its 30th anniversary as a company with a program in the Ted Shawn Theatre, August 2-6.

New York City's famed Doug Varone and Dancers will perform Lux in 2017 Victory Dance, presented by The New 42nd Street and The New Victory Theater, todays, July 13 & 20, 2017 at 7pm at The Duke on 42nd Street (229 West 42nd Street).

Known for its “powerfully engaging” (New York Arts) choreography, Ariel Rivka Dance reflects on 10 seasons of provocative modern dance with a pair of career-spanning programs to be performed at New York Live Arts from September 6-9, 2017.

Anonymous Man is Michael Gordon's first concert-length solo choral work. It was commissioned by The Crossing and written for the choir's 24 voices. Gordon merges subtle rhythmic invention with incredible power in his music, embodying, in the words of The New Yorker's Alex Ross, 'the fury of punk rock, the nervous brilliance of free jazz and the intransigence of classical modernism.'

New York City's famed Doug Varone and Dancers will once again offer DEVICES: Choreographic Intensive & Mentorship Program in NYC: a one-on-one mentorship program with Doug Varone for experienced choreographers May 28 - June 2, 2017 at Hunter College, 695 Park Ave, NYC 10065. A unique program celebrating its fourth year, the entire scope of the mentorship is divided into three distinct parts over the course of several months.

10 Hairy Legs, the all-male repertory dance company, debuts at BAM for its fifth consecutive New York Season for four performances June 8-11. Coppin State University Repertory Dance Ensemble and ClancyWorks Dance Company team up for an evening of choreographic impact, April 23rd at Theatre Project, 45 West Preston Street, Baltimore. This collaborative, contemporary dance performance draws on millennial perceptions from dancers and choreographers hailing from Coppin State University, ClancyWorks Dance Company, and Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts, in order to advance positive social action in the Baltimore community.
