Birdland Theater, the new venue spawned from the legendary Birdland on 44th street had a 'soft' opening this summer, followed by a bunch of celebrity openings in September. It had another entertainment first last night because Jamie deRoy brought her friends and her renowned Jamie deRoy & friends Variety show to this great new performance space. The evening had all the glamour and excitement of a Broadway opening night, the kind of evening Ms. deRoy can usually be found at.

The Path Fund Inc. presents this year's ROCKERS ON BROADWAY: 25th Anniversary Benefit Concert on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 8 p.m. ROCKERS ON BROADWAY, the original Broadway rock concert series, a fun unique charity event, featuring The Broadway All Star's Band. Proceeds to benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS as well as several non-profit performing arts education programs.

'The Greatest Piano Men' starring Donnie Kehr is a tribute to the greatest piano icons in music history. It will be performed at NJPAC on 815. We had the pleasure of interviewing Donnie about his career and the upcoming show.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents The Greatest Piano Men is a rock'n'roll salute to the greatest piano icons in music history, from Beethoven to Billy!

The 24th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival will feature the concert reading of the hilarious romantic comedy Calling All Kates. The show will open at the Charles R. Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, and run July 22nd and 23rd. Performances will start at 7:30pm. Programming runs July 12-Aug.10 and includes a Thursday evening Family Movie Series, the Thursday evening WDCB Live Jazz Concert Series and a Friday evening Pop Music Series. One of the highlights of the Friday evening series promises to be the July 20 New Philharmonic pops concert, which will be broadcast on Facebook Live for the second year in a row.

Broadway Bound Kids' third annual Broadway Bee, which took place on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Le Poisson Rouge, was a major success, raising over $40,000 in funding for performing arts education opportunities for NYC youth. A comedic adult spelling bee, the Broadway Bee, featured actors from hit Broadway shows competing in a hilarious live event. Lee Aaron Rosen from the Tony Award nominated Broadway revival of Angels in America took home the coveted Broadway Bee trophy.

New spellers have been added to Broadway Bound Kids' third annual Broadway Bee on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 7 PM at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street). The comedic spelling bee, Broadway Bee, features actors from hit Broadway shows competing in a hilarious live event, while raising funds to provide a wide range of performing arts education opportunities for NYC youth. Tickets are now available.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party, 'Birdland's star-studded, 'extreme' open mic/variety show' continues to dazzle packed houses at Birdland (315 West 44 Street, NYC) every Monday night starting at 9:30pm.
