Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN began rehearsals on Monday, January 30th, with the first preview performance set for Tuesday, March 6th, in anticipation of an April 1st, 2012 opening at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Producers Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel announced today that Tony Award winner JEFFERSON MAYS, Drama Desk Award winner DAKIN MATTHEWS and renowned journalist and television personality DONNA HANOVER have joined the cast of the 2012 Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN.

The onetime Broadway musical It Girl is about to open in her 4th play off-Broadway this year.

Donna Hanover and Colman Domingo hosted a luncheon yesterday, June 9 at the National Arts Club. A benefit for the Vineyard Theatre's artistic and education programs, playwright Branden Jacobs Jenkins was presented with the Vineyard Theatre's 4th annual Paula Vogel Playwriting Award, given each year to a gifted emerging playwright.
