Lauren Bush, Trush Family, et al. Honored by Women Who Care

Loreen Arbus, Founder & Chair of Women Who Care and Edward R. Matthews, CEO of United Cerebral Palsy of New York City, are  pleased to announce the honorees for The Diamond Anniversary Women Who Care Luncheon to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of New York City. The event will be held on Thursday, May 5th, at Cipriani 42nd Street. Women Who Care celebrates the accomplishments of women as caregivers, volunteers and professionals. The event will be hosted by Donna Hanover, former First Lady of New York City.
 
The event has become a New York Tradition and last year generated worldwide media attention. 
Honorees for The 10th Annual Women Who Care Luncheon on May 5th will be:
Lauren Bush , Model/Designer/Philanthropist, Founder, President & CEO, FEED Projects.
Roxanne Mankin Cason, Philanthropist/Entrepreneur, Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Cason Family Foundation.

Carolee Friedlander, Founder, Former CEO, Carolee Designs, and Founder, CEO AccessCircles.
Petra Nemcova, Supermodel/Author/Philanthropist Founder & Chair of The Happy Hearts Fund.
The Trush Family Founder's of Daniel's Music Foundation will be presented with The Karen Hansen Caregiver Award.
 
This year, Robin Givens & Paula Zahn will be two new Co-Chairs of Women Who Care. All honorees and both co-Chairs Robin Givens & Paula Zahn will be attending the event. The event has become a New York Tradition and last year generated worldwide media attention. "Women Who Care was created to honor female role models  representing various segments of the community," said Loreen Arbus, Founder & Chair of Women Who Care. "It is a celebration of women who have deep concern  for others and are passionately committed to giving back. Their extraordinary accomplishments and great character have inspired women around the world to achieve  their full potential."    

UCP/NYC is one of America's most established charities helping children and adults with disabilities throughout New York City. UCP/NYC currently serves more than 14,000 individuals and family members through more than 75 programs. The Mission of United Cerebral Palsy of New York City is to create opportunities for people with disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Celebrity Presenters for the star-studded event will be announced next month. Last year's Women Who Care Celebrity Presenters included Cynthia Nixon, Meredith Vieira, Jimmy Smits, Alan Rickman, Robin Givens, Paula Zahn, Dr Mehmet Oz and many other stars.
