Prospect Theater Company presents its annual gala, 2012's Spring Soiree, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park.

When The Public Theater premiered Adam Guettel's Myths and Hymns in 1998 - under the title Saturn Returns - it was presented as a simple song cycle using chamber arrangements of pop, gospel and classical styles in a loose theme of exploring the human relationship to faith, utilizing traditional hymns and ancient myths.  In the new production presented by Prospect Theater Company, director Elizabeth Lucas, through snippets of connecting dialogue and short, silent scenes, gives the evening a bit of a narrative.  The result is too thin to add any dramatic heft, but not so intrusive as to distract from the poetry of the material and the tender and touching performances of her beautifully singing cast.

Producing company New Make Do would like to announce the full cast for their industry presentation of WALKER IN BABYLON, a musical immersion experience. On Many April 20th MGC Productions presented Broadway Speaks OUT Live at The Duplex. The evening was hosted by MGC Productions founding artistic director, Martin Gould Cummings. Performances were given by Marissa Perry (Hairspray), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Hair), Donell James Foreman (Mamma Mia Tour), Justin Stoney (The Yeats Project), Lauren Elder (Hair), Adriana Devine Figliola, Elliot Roth and Jenn Lederer (Midtwenties:The Show).

Elliot Roth (Our Sinatra) and Jenn Lederer will be joining the line up of stars to perform at the Broadway Speaks OUT concert on April 20th. Elliot Roth and Jenn Lederer were last seen together at the Manhattan Theatre Source in their production of 'Midtwenties: The Show'. Midtwentiess: The Show was produced by Martin Gould Cummings with direction by Anthony Hollock (Hair).

MGC Productions has announced that Gavin Creel has joined the Broadway Speaks OUT concert tonight, April 20th. Broadway Impact, headed by Tony nominee Gavin Creel, Rory O'Malley, Scott Duquette, and Jenny Kanelos will be represented at the concert.

On Monday evening April 13th, cast members from the Broadway National Tour of 'Mamma Mia' traded in their spandex and platform shoes for loofas and shower caps at 'Shower Songs - Guilty Pleasures from Bathrooms Across the Country' a one night only benefit concert for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. This eclectic evening of songs with music directed by Bill Congdon took place at West Hollywood's iconic venue The Abbey (629 N Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA) at 8PM and featured a special performance by the legendary Candis Cayne (Dirty Sexy Money).
