On March 13, REDCAT hosts its 2010 REDCAT Gala in celebration of its 6th anniversary as one of the most vibrant cultural centers in Los Angeles. The evening honors New York-based conceptual artist Glenn Ligon, with a tribute by actor, director, and artist James Franco, and L.A. philanthropist Tim Disney, with a tribute by friend and actor Alfre Woodard.

Richard Gere lit up the big screen with his dance moves in Chicago and Shall We Dance, Mitzi Gaynor wowed television audiences with her sizzling, 70?s variety spectaculars and in such film classics as Les Girls and South Pacific? and now both are coming to Boston to be honored at Swellegance, the Boston Youth Moves annual fundraiser on Saturday, March 7th at the Westin Copley Place.

West Coast Ensemble presents the first show of their 2009 season, THE GRADUATE, adapted by Terry Johnson, based on the novel by Charles Webb, and the motion picture screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry, THE GRADUATE will be directed by Jules Aaron (Great Expectations). THE GRADUATE will preview on Wednesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 12 at 8:00pm and will open on Friday, February 13 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, April 5 at the new home of West Coast Ensemble - The El Centro Theatre, 800 N. El Centro Ave. in Hollywood.
