dick clark productions President Orly Adelson announced today that Jay-Z will perform at the 2009 American Music Awards. This marks Jay-Z's second time performing on the American Music Awards. He has been nominated in the Rap/Hip-Hop category six times, including this year's nominations for Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album. Jay-Z will join the previously announced Alicia Keys in a special collaborative act. They join an already outstanding lineup of artists announced at this week's AMA nominations press conference including The Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

JUST IMAGINE will preview on Friday, October 2 at 8pm; Saturday, October 3 at 8pm; Sunday, October 4 at 3pm and will open on Friday, October 9 at 8pm (John Lennon's 69th Birthday) and will run for six weeks through Sunday, November 8 at the NoHo Arts Center, 11136 Magnolia Blvd. (at Lankershim) in North Hollywood.
