The 26th Annual Festival of New Musicals, presented by the National Alliance For Musical Theatre (NAMT), kicked off with THE 46TH MINUTE, a concert hosted by Lindsay Mendez and featuring performances by Heidi Blickenstaff, Doreen Montalvo, Mamie Parris, Bryce Ryness, and more. Musical presentations started October 23 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) and included Beautiful Poison, Cubamor, Great Wall, How To Break, Mary Marie, The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes, String and Stu For Silverton. Libra Theater Company, in association with The TR?F, presents the World Premiere of ROYAL FABLES a new musical that explores the lives of classic and not-so-classic fairy tale princesses. Featuring book, music and lyrics by Nick Luckenbaugh, the production is directed by Megan Mekjian starring a cast of 18. Previews begin October 30 at Access Theater.

Anthony (The Book of Mormon, Catch Me If You Can) are all set to guest star in Danielle Wade sings Carner & Gregor at the Metropolitan Room (34 W. 22nd St., New York, NY) tonight, October 13th at 9:30pm.

Tonight, October 9th, Broadway Sessions celebrates the music of Carner and Gregor, Loesel and Burkell, Joey Contreras, Jeff Thomson, Drew Gasparini and Adam Overett.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

The event will be on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, 721 Broadway in the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program ("GMTWP") Black Box Theatre, 2nd floor, followed by a meet-and-greet with the writers and performers.

Actress/Singer Danielle Wade, who burst on the Canadian scene in 2012 with her weekly television appearances-and win-of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Over the Rainbow: Search for the Next Dorothy," going on to play Dorothy for the Toronto run and North American tour of The Wizard Of Oz, is teaming up with New York songwriters Sam Carner and Derek Gregor to make her solo concert debut on Monday, October 13 at 9:30pm at New York's Metropolitan Room, 34 W. 22nd St.

CHEMICALLY ALTERED, TELLY LEUNG PRODUCTIONS and YELLOW SOUND LABEL have announced the release of the soundtrack to GRIND: THE MOVIE, the short musical film. The five new songs performed by Anthony Rapp and Eric Michael Krop feature music by Derek Gregor and lyrics by Selda Sahin. The digital exclusive, which will be available on iTunes and other online outlets today, August 26, will be celebrated with a special release event concert at 54 Below on September 1.
