Broadway's Tony Award wining Best Musical can now add another laurel to its many honors: MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT won the Grammy Award today for Best Musical Show album. The Grammys take place tonight, Wed. Feb. 8 in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.
Full Cast Announced for Spamalot Tour, Rehearsals Begin in New York for March 7 Boston Opening

Today (Monday, January 23), The National Tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005, Monty Pythons SPAMALOT, begins rehearsals in New York, prior to a first performance in Boston on March 7 at the Colonial Theatre. Other cities confirmed for the tour include Chicago, Washington DC, Pittsburgh and Atlanta, with more dates to follow.
Murney, Cuervo, Benjamin, Freeman, Arcelus and Waldman Join Wicked Tour in March

Beginning March 8 (when performances begin at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati), Julia Murney will assume the role of Elphaba, Alma Cuervo will become Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin will step into the role of the Wizard, Sebastian Arcelus will be Fiyero, and Jennifer Waldman will be Nessarose. Beginning March 28 (when the show will be playing at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia), K. Todd Freeman assumes the role of Dr. Dillamond.
Lauren Kennedy Confirmed As Spamalot's New Lady Of The Lake

Lauren Kennedy will join the cast of MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT as The Lady of the Lake on December 20, 2005. As announced previously, Simon Russell Beale will assume the role of King Arthur on the same date.
