In 2019, Amazon Prime is unveiling its next big title, Good Omens, based on the novel by Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Coraline) and the late Sir Terry Pratchett (Discworld). Gaiman is the series show runner and it's directed by Douglas Mackinnon (Doctor Who). The series is slotted to run for six episodes and is being produced by the BBC, to air on its channel after it debuts on Prime. This past weekend for San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), Amazon Prime released a short featurette with a first look at the series. Check it out!

The star-studded season one finale will also feature Lin Manuel-Miranda (Broadway's 'Hamilton,' Disney's 'Moana'), Catherine Tate ('Doctor Who') and Kimiko Glenn ('Orange Is the New Black'), who reprise their roles as Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (aka Gizmoduck), Magica De Spell and Lena, respectively. In the episode titled 'The Shadow War!,' Magica De Spell is close to exacting revenge on Scrooge, so the family races against time to plan a dangerous rescue mission to save Scrooge and the city.

Chookity Pok! TBS has renewed its original animated series Final Space for a second season. Born from a seven-minute pilot created by “Tennessee wonder child” Olan Rogers, the intergalactic space saga is TBS' youngest- skewing original series to debut on the network, reaching more than 20 million viewers across TBS' linear, VOD and digital platforms. The series pick-up is the latest in a string of renewals for the network, which saw every original series renewed for additional seasons in the last year.

Premium cable network EPIX, an MGM company, today announced the premiere of DEEP STATE, the eight-episode espionage drama produced by Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa. Starring the critically-acclaimed actor Mark Strong, and Game of Thrones' Joe Dempsie, the gritty new drama is set to premiere on Sunday, June 17 at 9pm. Co-created, directed and written by Matthew Parkhill (Rogue) DEEP STATE is a grounded, visceral thriller, moving between the deeply personal story of a family man fighting to escape his past and the violent, dark excesses of government and global corporate power.

According to Variety, David Tennant will be joining Jennifer Garner in the upcoming half-hour comedy limited series the “Camping.'

The CW Network will expand its summer programming slate with the acquisition of THE OUTPOST, a 10-hour fantasy-adventure series from Electric Entertainment and Arrowstorm Entertainment, executive producers Dean Devlin ('Stargate,' 'The Librarians'), Jonathan Glassner ('Stargate SG-1') and Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin, who created the series. The CW will announce the U.S. premiere night and time at a later date.

According to Variety, Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman is joining the cast of Amazon and BBC's supernatural drama Good Omens. Offerman will play the U.S. Ambassador and father of the child Warlock in the six-part series, which is based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Nick Offerman joins previously announces David Tennant, Jon Hamm, and Miranda Richardson. 

The Olivier Awards with Mastercard, the UK's most prestigious stage honours, is delighted to announce Catherine Tate as the host of this year's 42nd Olivier Awards ceremony. The ceremony will be hosted at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 8th April and broadcast to the UK and worldwide.
