Common Ground Threatre and Ghost & Spice Productions presents Six Degrees of Separation, a play written by John Guare and directed by Rachel Klem, throughout the month of October. A young African American man claiming to be Sidney Poitier's son cons an Upper East Side couple. He sets in motion a series of events that will alter the course of their lives forever. Inspired by a true story, the play is both a laugh-out-loud comedy and a biting social commentary about the separation between the ‘haves and the ‘have-nots. Winner of the 1993 New York Critic's Circle Award.
