Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for all media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2009-10 season in 23 categories.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) opened the American premiere of Olivier Award nominee Moira Buffini's award-winning play, GABRIEL, this week on May 13, which marks the final main stage production of Atlantic's 2009-2010 season. Lortel Statues for 14 categories and 2 special awards were handed out by celebrity presenters at the 2010 Lucille Lortel Awards at a live awards ceremony last night, May 2, at Terminal 5. Hosted by the Off-Broadway League, the live show was co-hosted by Bryan Batt and Bebe Neuwirth and featured performances by Alan Menken, STOMP, Seth Rudetsky, Edward Watts of The Fanasticks and LaChanze. BroadwayWorld was on the red carpet to capture the evening's starry arrivals!

Dusk Rings a Bell, written by Stephen Belber will be performed at Atlantic Stage 2 as Atlantic Theater Company's final production of the season. The play will be directed by Sam Gold and will run May 19-June 20. Performances take place Tuesday-Saturday at 7:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 PM.
