92nd Street Y and Jujamcyn Theaters will present a series of conversations entitled 'Broadway Talks,' featuring some of today's biggest Broadway stars, throughout the spring. The talks will be held as one-on-one conversations with Jujamcyn President, Jordan Roth, and will take place on four separate occasions from March to May. Currently scheduled for talks are Liev Schrieber, Nathan Lane, Laura Linney, and Sean Hayes.

In celebration of Black History Month 2010, The Working Theatre (Mark Plesent, Producing Director), is presenting award-winning Broadway star André De Shields performing his solo work-in-progress, 'Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory: From Douglass to Deliverance,' created and performed by André De Shields and directed by Alfred Preisser. The performances run from Thursday, February 4th through Sunday, February 14th at the Abingdon Theater. Rehearsals begin this week for Goodman Theatre's world premiere of A True History of the Johnstown Flood by Rebecca Gilman, whose work was most recently included in Time magazine's 'Best Theatre Productions of the Decade.' Commissioned by the Goodman and directed by Robert Falls, A True History of the Johnstown Flood runs March 13 - April 18, 2010 in the Goodman's Albert Theatre. Gary Cole will lead Seattle Repertory Theatre's upcoming production of David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross as Ricky Roma. The production will run from February 5 - February 28 in the Bagley Wright Theatre. Wilson Milam directs (The Seafarer).

The New York Times has just announced that David Mamet's A Life in the Theater, will be the famed writer/director's next show to hit the stage on the Rialto. Producer Jeffrey Richards, who is also the producer behind Mamet's Race, currently playing the Ethel Barrymore Theatre and the recent revival of Mamet's Speed the Plow, confirmed that A Life in the Theater would hit Broadway in the fall of 2010.

Several Connecticut theatres will broadcast Patti LuPone's appearance on the popular 'Live From New York's 92nd Street Y' on February 4th. LuPone's concert, 'The Broadway Life' will be seen at The Shubert Theatre in New Haven, beginning at 8:15pm as well as at The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Center in Old Saybrook. The evening will also feature Leonard Lopste.
