Starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, War Paint tells the remarkable story of cosmetics titans Helena Rubinstein (LuPone) and Elizabeth Arden (Ebersole), who defined beauty standards for the first half of the 20th Century. Brilliant innovators with humble roots, both women were masters of self-invention who sacrificed everything to become the country's first major female entrepreneurs. They were also fierce competitors, whose 50-year tug-of-war would give birth to an industry that would forever change the face of America. From Fifth Avenue society to the halls of Congress, their intense rivalry was ruthless, relentless and legendary-pushing both women to build international empires in a world dominated by men.

The new Broadway musical War Paint, which is currently in previews, will add a digital lottery beginning Tuesday, March 28.

The box office for WAR PAINT will open today, Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10am at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street).

Producers David Stone and Marc Platt today announced complete casting for the upcoming Broadway musical, WAR PAINT.

Theatre at the Center's production of Annie Warbucks, the sequel to Annie, the 1977 Tony Award-winning smash Broadway hit, opened to a packed house Sunday, November 20. Based on Harold Gray's Little Orphan Annie comic strip, the book is by Thomas Meehan with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin. Annie Warbucks opened Off Broadway in 1993 and broke records for the time with 200 performances.  The Jeff Recommended production will continue through December 18. Goodman Theatre announces the full company for War Paint, a new musical starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole as cosmetics titans Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, respectively. As previously announced, John Dossett portrays Tommy Lewis, Miss Arden's husband and chief marketing manager, and Douglas Sills portrays Harry Fleming, Madame Rubinstein's clubby confidante and faithful ally.
