RSC to present two world premieres, a major events programme and new adaptations of Russian classics

What On Stage is reporting that Sean Holmes will succeed David Farr as the Artistic Director of London't Lyric Hammersmith. Holmes will begin in the Spring of 2009. David Farr announced he was leaving the position this past May after three years at the Hammersmith. He will now be the Associate Director fo the Royal Shakespeare Company.

The Lyric Hammersmith's Artistic Director David Farr announces a season of shows culminating in a new production of Spring Awakening.

The National Theatre has selected nine new plays to be presented as part of its NT Connections program, which features plays commissioned for and about young people.
