Stage Door Records has announce the release of LOST WEST END, a unique collection of recordings from lost West End musicals, due for CD release on July 24th, 2015.

We have had an incredible journey and despite rave reviews, audience acclaim and standing ovations, ticket sales have been disappointing, and so after five glorious weeks with the most amazing company, cast and creative team, we are announcing early closure.

Following the critically acclaimed hit premiere stage production of Peter James' The Perfect Murder, the best-selling work of the No.1 novelist will return to the stage in 2015 with the adaptation of his most famous and popular book to date Dead Simple. A host of famous faces - including Gray O'Brien (Coronation Street) as Detective Roy Grace, Jamie Lomas (Eastenders, Hollyoaks) as Michael Harrison, Rik Makarem (Emmerdale, Torchwood) as Mark Warren, Michael McKell (Doctors, Emmerdale) as Bradley Cunningham and introducing Glasgow actress Gemma Stroyan (Taggart) as Ashley Harper - bring the next claustrophobically thrilling instalment of Peter James' work to life at the Theatre Royal Glasgow from Monday 18 until Saturday 23 May 2015.

GODSPELL, the legendary rock musical from Stephen Schwartz, the Grammy and Academy Award- winning composer of WICKED, is back. Godspell in Concert will be performed on Monday 19th May 2014 at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in aid of Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. The show, which was last seen in the West End over 40 years ago, will be introduced by David Essex and feature a West End line-up including Zoe Tyler, Andy Abraham and Stewart Clarke. Special guests include members of the original West End cast, Marti Webb, Gay Soper and Tom Saffery.

For those who don't know, Herbie Flowers & Barry Morgan are giants of the British session and Library worlds. The late Mr. Morgan played with Bowie, Elton John, The Walker brothers, Blue Mink and countless others and Herbie has recorded some of the greatest bass lines in the history of popular music, including Lou Reed “Walk on the wild side,” David Essex “Rock on” and David Bowie “Space Oddity”.

Marti Webb, who recently returned to the West End in triumph in her seminal musical, Tell Me on a Sunday, has confirmed she will reunite with David Essex and other original members of the rock musical Godspell at the Lyric Theatre on Monday 19 May.

Godspell, the heart-lifting feel-good Broadway musical from Stephen Schwartz (Wicked), is to be staged in the West End for the first time since it premiered there 42 years ago.
