In honor of the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, Shakespeare Orange County (SOC) commissioned a new piece by Southern California playwright Allison Volk. The play, called Sonnets, Songs & Sorry, Will's Been Dead 400 Years! is a rollicking "Shakespearean vaudeville" that will enjoy a world premiere on Sunday, July 10th at 7 pm.

Based on the Skybound/Image comic title by creator Robert Kirkman ('The Walking Dead') and artist Paul Azaceta, the CineMax drama series OUTCAST launches its ten-episode first today, FRIDAY, JUNE 3 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT). The series is created and executive produced by Robert Kirkman, and executive produced by showrunner Chris Black.

Seven-time Emmy Award-winning actor Ed Asner and writer/director Brian Jett will be on hand for the Q&A on June 17th hosted by Emmy Award-winner Ira Joe Fisher. Shakespeare Orange County will begin its 2014 season on Saturday, May 10, with a celebrity filled fundraiser, A Night with the Stars. The night will be filled with live music, an auction, dinner, and a live 1940's style radio show with all proceeds going towards SOC's new children's program and upcoming season. The fundraiser dinner begins at 6:15 p.m. with the live radio show at 8 p.m. and a private reception immediately following the performance.
