New York: Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director and Tom Toce , Musical Director) announces the line-up for this year's award-winning series, WINTER RHYTHMS 2019, which will begin Wednesday, December 11 featuring some of New York's best musical performances through Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th St., East of 8th Ave.)

Travis Moser, a staple of the New York City cabaret scene, has released a new album of songs in tribute to legendary singer Linda Ronstadt. Travis's latest full length album, titled Just One Look: The Songs of Linda Ronstadt, was recorded live and is based on his sold-old show of the same name, which premiered at The Green Room 42 and featured special guests Molly Pope, Jack Bartholet, Cathy Cervenka and Daryl Glenn. During the run of the show, Front Row Center raved, 'If you ever see Travis Moser's name come up on a marquee, treat yourself and get a ticket.'

Cabaret, concert and recording artist Travis Moser makes his Green Room 42 debut with Just One Look: The Songs of Linda Ronstadt on June 20 at 7pm.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2019 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories.

MADONNATHON, the largest Madonna tribute show and dance party in the world, is entering its 15th landmark year with a very special Halloween celebration performance at the Highline Ballroom on October 31.

The five finalists of the "Lost in a Dream" karaoke-style competition will perform live from 3pm-4:30pm on April 15 at the St. Jean Baptiste Church Theater located at 184 East 76th Street in New York City, where a winner will be chosen! Joseph Macchia presents Free To Be Me A Kick Off To Pride! June is Gay Pride Month. And What better way then to Kick Off Pride Week with a benefit HRC and The LGBT Center in New York. Free To Be Me will be hosted by the one and only Doris Dear. The evening will feature a lineup of male performers who will sings songs they were told they could never sing because they are men. Well on the 19th we will be singing them.

Some of New York's top cabaret singers are putting on a show to raise money for God's Love We Deliver, the New York metropolitan area's leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses, in honor of the late Joan Rivers.

At a ceremony held earlier this week in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2016 MAC Awards. A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Amanda McBroom. Also honored with a Board of Directors award was Maryann Lopinto. Jamie deRoy received the Ruth Kurtzman Benefit Award on behalf of her work with The Actors Fund: Jamie deRoy & Friends Cabaret Initiative. Sally Darling received the Hanson Award. The show was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Matt Baker.

How is this season so good? We're only three episodes in and I'm already dreading the end! Also, and believe me, I feel real weird asking this question, but… how hot is Jesus?
