CBS today announced its summer schedule with original series across five nights of the week, including the new event series BRAINDEAD and AMERICAN GOTHIC, the sophomore season of ZOO, based on James Patterson's #1 bestselling novel, and the return of the summer reality hit BIG BROTHER.

CBS has given a straight-to-series order for 13 episodes of AMERICAN GOTHIC, a new one-hour murder mystery set in Boston, from Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television and CBS Television Studios. The series will be broadcast during summer 2016.

CBS announced today that the Dome in Chester's Mill will come down and its mysteries revealed during the series finale of UNDER THE DOME on Thursday, Sept. 10. Based on Stephen King's bestselling novel, UNDER THE DOME debuted Monday, June 24, 2013 and has been one of the most-watched shows on television for the past three summers.

FX Renews THE AMERICANS for Fourth Season

FX has ordered a fourth season of the critically-acclaimed and award-winning drama The Americans, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. The Americans, currently the #1-ranked television series on Metacritic with a 92, will return for a 13-episode fourth season in 2016. Four episodes remain in the current season, which will conclude with the season finale on April 22nd.
