Last night it was Jim Caruso who introduced Julie to a room full of her fans in the Birdland Theater. As Jim pointed out to an excited audience, Julie was one of the first artists he thought of for Birdland's new space.

National Touring Country Music Artist and Veteran Ryan Daniel just announced his 2019 "Too Country For You" tour dates. The spring and summer tour will make stops in seven states, including Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Illinois in support of Daniel's recent record "Like America" and new single "Bring on the Night."

Aziz Ansari brings his Road to Nowhere stand-up comedy tour to BAM on May 18. Ansari stars in, writes, and directs Master of None, a Netflix original comedy series that he co-created with Alan Yang (Parks and Recreation). Aziz won the 2016 and 2017 Emmy Award for "Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series" and has received five additional nominations for "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series" (2016 and 2017), "Outstanding Comedy Series" (2016 and 2017), and "Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series" (2016). 

The 31st Annual Colleagues Spring Luncheon and Oscar de la Renta will present award-winning actress Marlo Thomas with The Colleagues Champion of Children Award, which honors those who have made a lasting impact on the lives of children.

The Producers Guild Awards celebrates the finest producing work of the year, and gives the Guild an opportunity to honor some of the living legends who have shaped our profession.

The Producers Guild Awards were given last night, January 19. Taking the top prize was Green Book, produced by Jim Burke, Charles B. Wessler, Brian Currie, Peter Farrelly, and Nick Vallelonga.

Daryl Dragon was a brilliant keyboardist, arranger and record producer, known to his many fans worldwide as 'The Captain' half of the pop music duo, Captain and Tennille. Daryl passed away on Wednesday, Jan 2nd at 1:37am due to renal failure at the age of 76.

Aziz Ansari has announced the Road To Nowhere Tour coming to Stifel Theatre on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m.

 Plans were announced over the weekend for 'Roy Clark's Celebration of Life' memorial which will be open to the public. The service will be held on Wednesday, November 21 at 11:00am CT at Rhema Bible Church at 1025 W Kenosha St Broken Arrow, OK 74012 near Tulsa.

On December 7 & 8, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital celebrates 15 years of its Thanks and Giving campaign with a two-day holiday pop-up event in New York City's Bowery/Soho neighborhood. The public is invited to join St. Jude and its partners to learn more about the hospital's life-saving mission and share what they #GiveThanks for this holiday season. Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of 'Better Late,' a romantic comedy by Larry Gelbart, on Monday, February 26, at 7 p.m. Gelbart was a creator and producer of the television series 'M*A*S*H,' and a co-writer of the film 'Tootsie' and the Broadway musicals 'City of Angels' and 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.'

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) today proudly announced that Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes, stars of television, film and stage and Sid and Marty Krofft, two legendary television producers, will be honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards this year during the Daytime Emmy® Awards.  The Krofft Brothers will be celebrated at the 45th Daytime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards which will take place on Friday, April 27th, 2018, while Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes will be celebrated on Sunday, April 29th, 2018 at the 45th Daytime Emmy® Awards.  Both presentations will take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Southern California.
