In light of the recent string of suicides among young gay men in our country, The Laurie Beechman Theatre is humbled to present It Gets Better: Broadway Supports The Trevor Project. The 6pm concert will host some of Broadway's leading voices, lending their support to this vital organization that provides suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.

On Wednesday and Thursday, July 21 and 22, Jim Caruso's Cast Party traveled West for the third time! For the third time in as many months, the extreme open mic has been jamming The Magic Castle in Hollywood with extraordinary talent, and these two nights were no exception to the rule!

The Columbia Gorge School of Theatre (www.TheatreCamp.com) is entering its 14th year of providing professional actor training for young people from across the country and from around the world. CGST students study Acting, Singing, Dancing, Movement, Voice, TV/Film Acting and the Biz with theatre professionals from all over. This year, our staff is coming in from Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, Cleveland, Detroit and several from New York City. Our alumni have gone on to work in feature films, television series, commercials, and Broadway tours. They have also gotten into some of the best BFA theatre programs in the nation. This year, CGST is located at Reed College in Portland, with its excellent facilities, dorms, grounds and food. CGST is dedicated to fostering an emotionally safe experience. Tonight, Monday, May 24th at 8pm, 88's Cabaret is very excited to celebrate its 3rd Anniversary with performances honoring the last three years. The event will be held at La Boheme's sister restaurant Gonpachi in Beverly Hills. Gonpachi will feature a special menu for 88's with something for everyone (and not at Beverly Hills prices!). Appetizers will start at just $3. The cost is $15 to be seated with dinner (with dinner reservation) and $10 for standing room only, with a cash cover at the door. Cover prices have been lowered as a thanks to all patrons over the past three years. There will be a big announcement at the show that 88's is very excited about. The evening will also include give-aways, prizes and surprises.

Jamie McGonnigal and Joe's Pub present Come To My Garden: The Music of Lucy Simon. The concert will feature the music of the incredible Broadway composer, Lucy Simon.
