Michael Angarano has been announced to play Nicky, Jack's brother on THIS IS US season three, according to Deadline. The show will meet Nicky when it goes back in time to Vietnam to chronicle Jack's time during the war. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, This is Us has casted Mudbound actor Rob Morgan  in a recurring role in the upcoming third season.

Jean Smart (“Legion,” “Fargo”) will recur in Bravo Media's “Dirty John” playing Arlane Hart, Debra's (Connie Britton) mother. Smart will join Britton and Eric Bana in the scripted anthology series based on the articles and breakout true crime podcast of the same name from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard. The series reunites Smart with Bana, who she previously starred alongside in the film “Lucky You.”

Today, the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), the largest marketing and advertising association in the United States, announced that it has presented its first #SeeHer programming award to the hit NBC family drama This Is Us. The award, to be given out annually, honors primetime programming that pushes boundaries on changing stereotypes and recognizes the importance of women and girls in media.

SAG-AFTRA today announced the recipients for its third SAG-AFTRA American Scene Awards: Twentieth Century Fox Television for This Is Us, Atlantic Music Group for Hamilton (Original Broadway Cast Recording) and The Hamilton Mixtape, as well as the San Diego State University Research Foundation for KPBS San Diego.

Tracy Oliver will adapt the hit 1996 film FIRST WIVES CLUB for a half-hour TV series, heading to the Paramount Network and Paramount TV. A reboot of the movie was originally in development and picked up by TV Land.

THIS IS US (Music from the Series), a companion to the show America loves, is available September 15 via UMe. This Is Us: The Complete First Season will be available on DVD three days earlier so fans can relive all the moments along with the music from the hit show.
