The entertainment industry turned out in full-force tonight in support of the Motion Picture & Television Fund's (MPTF) 'Reel Stories, Real Lives,' a unique evening of powerful readings which told the stories of industry members and their families who have benefitted from MPTF's services over the years. The event, held at Milk Studios, was hosted by Robert Downey Jr. and featured performances put together by renowned Hollywood actors, actresses, writers and directors who have been touched by the generosity the MPTF has been able to inspire within the industry. The release date of Barbra Streisand's upcoming comedy 'My Mother's Curse' has been pushed back to November 2, 2012 and Paramount has changed the title to 'Guilt Trip,' according to The Examiner.

Variety reports that Pacino may star in the film, which centers around a man who decides to reconnect with his son after receiving a letter from John Lennon. Marisa Tomei and musician Josh Groban have joined the cast of the Steve Carell-Ryan Gosling marital crisis comedy for Warner Bros, according to Variety. The new film will be directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, and features a screenplay by Dan Fogelman.

Kevin Bacon will join Steve Carell in an untitled Dan Fogelman-Steve Carell project, according to The Hollywood Reporter. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra will direct the movie for Warner Bros. Filming will begin in late April.
