Roberto Bolle and Friends was a special evening of dance featuring international Ballet Stars. Roberto Bolle, principal dancer of the American Ballet Theatre and Ètoile of La Scala in Milan acted as both artistic director and star as he danced alongside the world's top dancers performing pas de deux and solos from both classic and modern ballets. New York City Center was packed and Roberto Bolle performed to resounding applause. Check out the photos below!

Atlanta Art institutions Hosts Year of Italian Culture 2013

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced 2013 as the 'Year of Italian Culture' in the United States. Atlanta arts institutions have joined in the celebration and will host events throughout the Fall that highlight everything from Italian music to Renaissance and Baroque images of Rome to Italy's best exports, wine and design. Harmonie Universelle, The Atlanta Opera, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Michael C. Carlos Museum, and Museum of Design Atlanta offer visitors a chance to experience Italy's rich culture and history.

Ms. Perez, a graduate of New York's renowned Julliard School is a great admirer of French opera works. Ms. Perez made her operatic debut with the Canadian Opera Company singing the title role of Juliet with Marcello Giordani as Romeo, in Gounod's Romeo and Juliet. JetBlue to Begin Flights to Port-au-Prince, Haiti!

JetBlue Airways (JBLU) today announced its intent to serve Port-au-Prince, Haiti with daily nonstop service from both New York City and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood. From Toussaint Louverture International Airport (PAP) in the Haitian capital, JetBlue plans to offer one daily nonstop flight to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and twice daily flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), subject to receipt of government operating authority. Port-au-Prince will be JetBlue's 82 nd BlueCity with service to begin on December 5, 2013 (a).

The New York Philharmonic in collaboration with CAMI Music will celebrate the Chinese New Year for the second consecutive year with a Gala concert exploring the contrasts and connections between Chinese and Western music, Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. A new tradition for the Philharmonic, the event celebrates the cultural heritage of China and America and honors the Chinese-American community. Long Yu — artistic director and chief conductor of the China Philharmonic, music director of the Shanghai and Guanzhou Symphony Orchestras, artistic director of the Beijing Music Festival, and a key figure in the creation of the Philharmonic's Orchestral Academy and performance residencies in Shanghai — will return to the Philharmonic to conduct the concert. The New York Philharmonic's Chinese New Year festivities will be broadcast in the New York area on THIRTEEN/WNET and nationwide in China on Beijing Television (BTV), as well as Webcast for free by medici.tv (www.medici.TV) beginning February 16, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. EST for 90 days.

The New 42nd Street Gala took place on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, to celebrate the New Victory Theater Education Programs. The event honored the Australia Council for the Arts and included a performance by the Melbourne-based Australian troupe, Circus Oz, followed by a dinner reception at the Liberty Theater. The event was co-chaired by Adelina Wong Ettelson, Sarah Jessica Parker and Fiona Howe Rudin. Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber attended as guests.
