To conclude its 45th season, Berkeley Repertory Theatre welcomes back a pair of acclaimed collaborators: Sarah Ruhl and Les Waters, the creators of Eurydice, Three Sisters, and In the Next Room (or the vibrator play), return to Berkeley Rep with another tale of love and longing in Dear Elizabeth.

Barbarous Productions will present the New York premiere of Sam Creely's Barbarous Nights, a sharp and surreal play inspired in part by the love letters of Lorca and Dali beginning tonight, July 5, 2013 through Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Invisible Dog (51 Bergen Street, Brooklyn). ALBERT PODELL and THE YORK SHAKESPEARE COMPANY are pleased to announce the world premiere production of Alexander Harrington's THE GREAT SOCIETY, directed by Seth Duerr. THE GREAT SOCIETY will play a four-week limited engagement at the Clurman Theatre (Theatre Row: 410 West 42nd Street, NYC). Performances begin Saturday, August 3 and continue through Saturday, August 24. Opening Night is Thursday, August 8 (8 p.m.).

Atlanta's Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre is pleased to announce the cast and creative team behind its upcoming production, HARMONY - A NEW MUSICAL, with music by Barry Manilow and book & lyrics by Bruce Sussman. HARMONY tells the true story of The Comedian Harmonists, a close harmony ensemble of six young men in 1930s Germany, who took the world by storm until their religious composition - a mixture of Jews and Gentiles - put them on a collision course with history. The Old Globe presents THINKING SHAKESPEARE LIVE!, a 90-minute presentation exploring the language of Shakespeare, today, June 15 at 11 a.m. Led by Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein and assisted by three professional classical actors, this special program based on Edelstein's book, THINKING SHAKESPEARE: A HOW-TO GUIDE FOR STUDENT ACTORS, DIRECTORS, AND ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE WITH THE BARD, will reveal a performer's approach to Shakespearean language so audiences may easily understand the poetry of the Bard.
