National Talent Comes Home for Empire Theatre Company's FALSETTOS Tonight

Empire Theatre Company will present William Finn's Tony Award-winning musical, FALSETTOS, opening tonight, February 4th. This laugh-out-loud production notably features regional favorites Darin Kerr and Cody Gerszewski in addition to Grand Forks native and national talent Michael Marcotte. With a career spanning from the LA Philharmonic to City Center Encores! Marcotte is 'thrilled to be back home performing.'

This uproarious new 'translaptation' of a classic French farce, Alexis Piron's La Metromanie, will be directed by one of America's most renowned stage directors, Michael Kahn, presented in association with Shakespeare Theatre Company.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, beloved as one of the world's most popular dance companies, will share its inspiring artistry with audiences during a 20-city North American tour starting tonight at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. The tour will take the Company to major cities including Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, and will culminate at the Prudential Hall of the New Jersey Performing in Newark on May 8th.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) just announced that Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed world premiere production of Heisenberg, the new play by Tony Award and two-time Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Mark Brokaw, will transfer to the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street), MTC's home on Broadway, this fall starring original cast members Denis Arndt and Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker.

? Mark Cortale, producer of the acclaimed Broadway @ The Nourse concert series in San Francisco has announced that superstar Rosie O'Donnell will join this season's lineup on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Hosted by Sirius XM Radio Star Seth Rudetsky whom the New York Times dubbed "The Mayor of Broadway," the popular series returns after kicking off the 2015/16 season at The Nourse Theater with "Glee" star Darren Criss in past fall.  Immediately preceding Rosie O'Donnell's performance will be Sutton Foster, star of the hit TV series "Younger" and Tony Award winner for Broadway's "Anything Goes" on Sunday, March 13th (rescheduled from Jan. 16th).  The Broadway @ The Nourse concert series will benefit San Francisco AIDS Foundation, Project Open Hand, and San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus.  Tickets are now on-sale - further information can be found at www.cityboxoffice.com/broadway or by calling (415) 392-4400.
