There was an explosion of talented dancers on stage at City Center on December 22, 2015. The energy was high. The dancers lit up the audience so that at the end of each piece, the outburst of applause and yells came from them. It was thrilling for everyone in the theater.

LEWIS BLACK, Grammy Award-winning stand-up comedian, will once again toast to the year that was and ring in the new at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at West Bank Cafe on Thursday, January 31. Black will be joined by Broadway's Liz Callaway and comedian John Bowman.

As previously reported, Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton will receive a behind-the-scenes book from Grand Central Publishing next spring. The Vineyard Theatre today announced that their 2016 Gala will honor Vineyard Board President and award-winning actress Kathleen Chalfant and New York theatrical press agent Sam Rudy. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) and TodayTix, the theater ticket app, announced today a CheapTix mobile lottery for Lazarus by David Bowie and Enda Walsh (Once, Tony Award), BroadwayWorld has learned. To increase access to tickets, this TodayTix program will replace the previously announced in-person lottery and will offer $25 tickets to the fastest selling show in NYTW history.
