Evan Rachel Wood is set to star in a new musical titled 'For the Record: Dear John Hughes,' which will have a theatrical run at West Hollywood's DBA from February 6th through April 4th.

Broadway In Chicago has announced "FOR THE RECORD: DEAR JOHN HUGHES," an immersive, concert event showcasing the works of beloved Chicago native John Hughes, will play the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) for a limited engagement March 5 - March 15, 2015.

After a three-month sold-out run, the hit "For The Record" series will extend their critically-acclaimed evening inspired by the films of Baz Luhrmann at West Hollywood's DBA (www.dbahollywood.com) every Thursday - Sunday through December 30, 2014.

After a sold-out six month run, "For The Record: Tarantino" returns to West Hollywood for five Thursday night performances. In the previous run, the show attracted thousands of attendees, including director Quentin Tarantino, actors and singers like Bruce Willis, Aaron Paul, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott, Adam Lambert as well as network, studio and industry executives. The show will run every Thursday at 8:00 p.m thru Thursday, November 23 with tickets ranging from $35 - $55, and can be purchased at DBAHollywood.com.

After increasing the number of weekly performances and moving to a larger venue in West Hollywood to accommodate significantly larger crowds, "For The Record: Tarantino" has become the hottest ticket in town, driving the series to add a 10-week extension. The show has attracted thousands of people already, including director Quentin Tarantino, actors and singers like Bruce Willis, Aaron Paul, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott, Adam Lambert as well as network, studio and industry executives. The popular show will also welcome new performers to the already stellar cast including Twilight's Jackson Rathbone, Broadway's Rhett George (Wicked, Memphis) and Nicci Claspell from the National Tour of American Idiot.

After more than three years in Los Feliz, the live musicimmersive concert experience "For The Record" will move to a larger home in West Hollywood, DBA (www.dbahollywood.com). Beginning March 27, the hit series will make their debut in this new, next level performance space that is hosting the most vital and relevant live music, DJ's, performance art, spoken word and theatrical events. One of my very favorite Christmas stories of all time is A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote about his boyhood growing up with his eccentric cousin Sook Faulk. Geraldine Page played Sook in a 1966 telefilm, and it was later remade for television in the 80s with Patty Duke. It is the Page version that stays with me, having left a lasting impression of the woman, the era and its fierce impact on humanity. Now Duane Poole has fashioned a retelling of the story with music by Larry Grossman and lyrics by Carol Hall in a new musical version of A Christmas Memory making its Southern California premiere at Laguna Playhouse through December 29.

Lindsay Pearce is best known for being one of the runners-up on The Glee Project, which gave her a recurring role on the Fox TV show GLEE. In the third season premiere of Glee, Pearce was introduced as Harmony, an ambitious and talented singer who awes characters Kurt and Rachel when they watch her and her group sing a mash-up of 'Anything Goes' from the musical Anything Goes and 'Anything You Can Do' from the musical Annie Get Your Gun. What an extreme pleasure to see 3-D Theatricals grow over the past three years into a major force on the musical comedy theatrical scene in greater Los Angeles. Based in Orange County, the group headed by artistic director T.J. Dawson is mounting 9 to 5 The Musical every bit as deliciously as the original, with all the excitement that accompanies a Broadway-style musical. Dawson directs a stupendous ensemble, and the production should not be missed through this Sunday March 3 only at Redondo Performing Arts Center, Redondo Beach.
