Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Julianna Margulies will be the guest of honor at the third annual Steppenwolf Salutes WOMEN IN THE ARTS fundraising luncheon on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Noon at The Chicago Cultural Center, 77 E. Randolph St. Ms. Margulies, who currently stars in the hit CBS drama The Good Wife, will be interviewed about her stage, television and film career by Steppenwolf Artistic Director Martha Lavey in a format similar to Inside the Actors Studio.

Nominees for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for outstanding performances in 2011 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood.

Sarah Jessica Parker has been cast as Gloria Steinem in LOVELACE, opposite Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard. Parker is replacing Demi Moore in the role of the iconic author and activist.

Chlo Sevigny is rounding up the cast of LOVELACE. She will portray Rebecca, a feminist journalist on freelance assignment for a men's magazine to find out who the real Linda Lovelace is.

MCC THEATER has just announced another all-star line-up for the company's highly anticipated annual gala, to be held Monday, March 26, 2012 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street). Miscast 2012 will honor the creators of Carrie, Academy Award-winning composer Michael Gore (Fame, Terms of Endearment), Academy Award-winning lyricist Dean Pitchford (Fame, Footloose) and Writer Lawrence D. Cohen (screenwriter of the classic film, Carrie) for their bold, daring, risk-taking spirit. Funds raised from Miscast help MCC Theater produce some of the most talked-about new work Off Broadway and support their Youth Company and in-school partnerships that serve New York City public high school students, as well as their literary development work with emerging playwrights.

Cory Hardrict and Debi Mazar have joined Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard for LOVELACE.

Variety reports that actor James Franco is currently in talks to star in the upcoming film biopic LOVELACE in the role of Hugh Hefner. Franco has previously worked with the film's directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman in the movie 'Howl'.

Emmy Award winner ERIC McCORMACK will return to Broadway as presidential contender Joseph Cantwell in the star-studded cast of the 2012 Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN. Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress, singer, and recording artist Leslie Uggams will appear on 'The Good Wife' this Sunday, November 13 at 9 pm Eastern, 8 pm Central time. Uggams guest stars on the Emmy nominated CBS drama as the upscale mother of two sons, one a Wall Street broker, the other a convicted murderer sentenced to death row.
