Hot on the heels of both his Classical Chart-topping debut album, Alistair McGowan: The Piano Album and the critically-acclaimed new Sky One impressions show, The Week That Wasn't (“Very, very, very funny” Chris Evans, BBC Radio 2), the multi-award-winning impressionist will be mixing (surely for the first-time) classical piano music and celebrity voices in his nationwide tour Introductions to Classical Piano. The tour will run initially from 19th July to 24th August 2018.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2018 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. In stark contrast to their secretive 2017 production DODO, Bricolage's latest immersive endeavor, The Forest of Everywhere, is a whimsical sensory-friendly children's experience based on their 2016 production, Welcome to Here. Originally commissioned by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust for the EQT Children's Theater Festival, Welcome to Here was designed to welcome children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Building on the success of its predecessor, The Forest of Everywhere will enjoy a much longer, three-week run and will feature an expanded open-world forest environment along with new characters and experiences. Bricolage is proud to premiere this production in conjunction with the 2018 EQT Children's Theater Festival as a recommended show.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Marvel Studios, Marvel Studios: Hero Acts is donating $1.25 million to provide transformative experiences to strengthen the lives of children impacted by serious illness. The grant will provide $800,000 to Make-A-Wish® to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses around the world, and $450,000 to Starlight Children's Foundation to help bring joy and comfort to children in hospitals.

Goodspeed is assembling a stellar cast for Cyrano an inspired new take on the Edmond Rostand classic Cyrano de Bergerac. Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Peter Dinklage will develop the title role and film actress Haley Bennett will play Roxanne in this bold new musical. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. This exciting musical is adapted by Erica Schmidt in collaboration with members of the Grammy Award-winning indie alternative band The National. Cyrano will run August 3 - September 2, 2018 at The Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
