Corky Hale presents I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU - The Life and Lyrics of Al Dubin, which opened May 13 at the Montalban Theatre, 1615 Vine St. in Hollywood. This new musical features lyrics by Al Dubin, music mostly by Harry Warren, book by Jerry Leichtling and Arlene Sarner, and musical direction by Gerald Sternbach. The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) tonight announced winners of its Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards in 23 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater. Winners in the film categories include 'Mad Max: Fury Road,' 'Cinderella,' 'Furious 7' and 'Pitch Perfect 2.' Television winners included 'American Horror Story: Hotel,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'Dancing With the Stars,' 'The Walking Dead' and 'Scream Queens.'

Star from the world of theater were recognized in several categories this year. For Best Actor in a Lead Role, Tony Award winner Bryan Cranston (ALL THE WAY) received a nod for TRUMBO. He shares the honor with last year's Oscar winner and Tony Award winner Eddie Redmayne (RED) for THE DANISH GIRL, and Michael Fassbender for STEVE JOBS.

Emmy-winning live TV producer David Hill and Oscar-nominated producer-director Reginald Hudlin (DJANGO UNCHAINED and more) will produce the 88th OSCARS telecast, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs announced today. It will be their first involvement with the Academy Awards, which will air live on the ABC Television Network on Oscar Sunday, February 28, 2016.

It's that time of year again! Hollywood heavyweights are flocking to the Dolby Theatre this afternoon to attend the 87th Annual Academy Awards. Like the Golden Globes, presented earlier this year, the roster of nominees are primarily made up of film stars (well, duh!) more so than stage actors, but no fear - there are a considerable amount of this year's candidates with strong theatrical credits.
