The first production in our 2013-2014 Season brought Terence Rattigan's writing back in to the spotlight. Rattigan's classic drama, The Winslow Boy, a production from the Old Vic in London, played a total of 85 performances at the American Airlines Theatre from first preview on September 20 through closing night on December 1.

It is my pleasure to share some casting news regarding The Winslow Boy, directed by Lindsay Posner: Michael Cumpsty (Desmond Curry) and Alessandro Nivola (Sir Robert Morton) will join the previously announcedRoger Rees and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio in this Terence Rattigan classic.Zachary Booth, Spencer Davis Milford,Chandler Williams, Meredith Forlenza,Stephen Pilkington, and Henny Russell will round out the cast.

Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, starring Scarlett Johansson as Maggie, Ciarán Hinds as Big Daddy, Benjamin Walker as Brick and Debra Monk as Big Mama, directed by Rob Ashford, opened last night January 17, and BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture all of the excitement and glamour of the evening. The final season of The Bridge Project starring Kevin Spacey, Artistic Director of The Old Vic, in the title role of Richard III, will close at BAM tonight, March 4th.

Kevin Spacey, currently starring in The Bridge Project's Richard III at BAM, will be a guest on "Theater Talk" on Friday February 3 at 1 AM on Channel 13 in New York. "Theater Talk" subsequently airs on CUNY TV on Saturday February 4 at 8:30 PM; Sunday February 5 at 12:30 PM; and Monday February 6 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM. "Theater Talk" is hosted by The New York Post's Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins.

The Bridge Project is a unique three-year series of co-productions by BAM, The Old Vic, and Neal Street, devoted to producing large-scale, classical theater for international audiences. The final season of The Bridge Project featuring Kevin Spacey, Artistic Director of The Old Vic, in the title role of Richard III, opened at The Old Vic in London on June 29, 2011 and began performances at BAM on January 10, 2012. The show officially opens on January 18, 2012. The Bridge Project is directed by Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes with whom Kevin Spacey worked on the award-winning film American Beauty.
