 TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will present the World Premiere of Jessica Dickey’s Nan and the Lower Body, an audience favorite at TheatreWorks’ 2019 New Works Festival.

Polka is one of the few theatres in the UK dedicated exclusively to children. Based in Wimbledon since 1979, Polka creates world-class theatre for children aged 0-12yrs. There are over 90k visitors annually, and for many children, it may be their first experience of theatre.   

Midlands-based theatre company 1623 is joining forces with Purple Theatre to premiere a brand new version of Much Ado About Nothing to Coalville's Century Theatre next month.

The Belgrade Theatre has announced full casting for the world premiere of Nothello, written by Mojisola Adebayo and William Shakespeare and directed by Justine Themen.

On March 10, 2022 New York City’s Obie Award-winning The Fire This Time Festival will release an anthology entitled 25 Plays from The Fire This Time Festival: A Decade of Recognition, Resistance, Resilience, Rebirth and Black Theatre.

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced that Sam Woodhouse will step down as Artistic Director in September 2022 after leading the company for 46 years. The Season, originally scheduled to take place in April 2020, is curated by the Centre for the Less Good Idea founder, William Kentridge and animateur, Phala Ookeditse Phala. The festival of new works will take place over 5 days at Arts on Main in downtown Johannesburg.

The touring programme includes theatre with Nouveau Riche's dance-theatre piece, Resonate, written and performed by Ntonga Mwanza; Lung Theatre's Who Cares by Matt Woodhead which explores the experience of young carers; the bike-powered family comedy, How to Save a Rock, written by Conky Kampfner, Alex Rugman and Pigfoot; and Tim Crouch's reimagining of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night from the point of view of its most notoriously abused steward in I, Malvolio.
