Rep Stage, the professional Equity theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), opens its 20th anniversary season with Jon Marans' award winning comedy-drama "The Temperamentals." "The Temperamentals" opens tonight, August 29, 2012, with a limited run through September 16 in the Studio Theatre of the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center (HVPA) on the campus of HCC.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth is set to co-host the premiere episode of Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show, ANDERSON LIVE. The actress, who was recently injured while filming a scene for the CBS drama series 'The Good Wife,' will join Coooper on his newly reformatted show which returns on September 10th.

Jeffery Roberson, aka drag superstar Varla Jean Merman, will return to New York this fall in the title role of Menotti's musical thriller THE MEDIUM at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, directed by Donna Drake, running from Oct. 25th - Nov. 11th.

Lawrence, an Emmy Award-winning actress, will also be on hand, dispensing her savvy humor and performance memories from her cherished time on The Carol Burnett Show (1967-1978) and in her own spin-off series, "Mama's Family" (1983-1990). The first half features hilarious sitcom and variety show clips and Lawrence's many behind-the-scenes tales followed by the support-hose-wearing, sassy senior citizen "Mama" in the second half.

According to The West Australian, Michael Cormick will jump into the role of Daddy Warbucks in Annie on Aug. 7 to replace Anthony Warlow, who is set to play the same role in Broadway's production of Annie, which opens Nov. 8 at the Palace Theatre. Australia's Annie opens at Perth's Burswood Theatre on Aug. 24.
