On Monday, August 30th, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly showcase for emerging writers and performers at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater, which will feature the songs of Jake Brandman as well as a presentation of the new musical Substitute Dreams. Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), the not-for-profit producing entity at the historic Theatre By The Sea, is thrilled to announce a partial cast list for their first fundraising event Beyond the Sea, sponsored by First Trade Union Bank, Amtrak and Liberty Rentals, to be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010.

On Monday, August 2, the Tony-winning actress Cady Huffman took to the Broadway at Birdland in front of a packed house of family, friends and fans! Huffman (Tony winner for The Producers), along with renowned saxophonist Michael Hashim, celebrated, challengd and twisted into oblivion some traditional jazz standards with their musical collaboration, 'The Tree Of Life. Joining Huffman and Hashim on stage were Ed MacCeachen on guitar, Kelly Freisen on bass and Willard Dyson on drums.

Jim Caruso is proud to announce the return of Broadway's Cady Huffman to the Birdland stage on Monday, August 2 at 7pm in 'The Tree Of Life.' This event will be part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series.

On Monday, July 26th, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly showcase for emerging writers and performers at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater, which will feature the music of Joel Waggoner, Laurence O'Keefe (Bat Boy, Legally Blonde), Ryan Scott Oliver (Mrs. Sharp), Gaby Alter (Band Geeks), Joy Son, Julian Fleisher, and Kirsten Guenther.
